Beardslee Castle is a unique and historic dining destination located in Little Falls, New York. Our castle, built in 1860, offers an unparalleled atmosphere for any occasion. Our Cuisine

Our menu is inspired by American cuisine with a focus on creative, seasonal dishes. We source the finest ingredients from local farms, including organic greens and vegetables, to bring you the best-tasting fare in central New York. Our menu changes seasonally and features wood-grilled meats and game, fresh seafood, and creative vegetarian dishes drawing from regional American, Island, Mediterranean, and Asian influences.

Our History

With 160 years of history, Beardslee Castle has a rich legacy of legendary tales of ghosts and spirits that only accentuate the natural energy of the property. Originally built by Augustus Beardslee in 1860, the limestone building was constructed in the style of an Irish castle. After suffering two major fires, the building was restored and reopened in 1994 under the present ownership.

Dining Experiences

Our dining room offers an intimate setting with five cozy rooms, each with 3-foot thick limestone walls, oak-paneled ceilings, and floors. The main hall features a 6-foot wide wood-burning fireplace, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. We also have THE DUNGEON, a cozy Bar & Grill featuring a casual menu during dinner hours and a great spot for a drink or a game of pool after hours.

Our 8 acres of beautiful grounds, spacious banquet room, and personalized planning with our wedding coordinators ensure an event that will be wonderful and memorable. We are located just off the New York State Thruway, less than an hour from Albany and just over an hour from Syracuse. We are committed to supporting our local community by sourcing ingredients from local farms and providers.
