The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, also known as Tax Reform, was expected to make tax preparation simpler in 2018. However, we have discovered that this is not entirely true. While the Standard Deduction has been increased, personal exemptions have been eliminated, and deductions have been capped or eliminated, the tax return has been reduced to postcard size. However, there is no mention of the numerous forms that still need to be completed and attached to the postcard tax return. Our team at SlackTax, Inc. is dedicated to staying up-to-date with these changes and providing the best possible service to our clients.
