At BodyWise Psychotherapy, LLC, we believe that every individual has the potential to create the life they desire. Our holistic approach combines traditional psychotherapy with dance/movement therapy, yoga, and mindfulness practices to empower our clients to take control of their mental and emotional well-being.

Our Mission

As a licensed mental health counselor and registered dance/movement therapist, I, Susana Potter, created BodyWise Psychotherapy to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. My passion is to help others develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, fostering a sense of connection, empowerment, and transformation.

About Me

I, Susana Potter, have over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. My journey has been marked by twists and turns, including struggles with depression, anxiety, and disordered eating. Through my experiences, I have come to understand the importance of integrating the mind and body for optimal well-being.

As a licensed mental health counselor, registered dance/movement therapist, certified yoga teacher, and certified Reiki practitioner, I bring a unique blend of skills and expertise to my work. I have completed training in dialectical behavior therapy and am part of the therapist collective at Sunserve non-profit organization, serving the LGBTQI+ community with mental health needs.
