Uberdine is a unique dining experiences provider based in Kansas City, brought to you by the renowned Chef Joe Shirley and his wife Carolina. The original concept of Uberdine was a Michelin three-star dining experience, but due to their desire to become great parents and open their own restaurant, they decided to establish the company in 2013, providing boutique catering, restaurant consulting, and an extraordinary pop-up experience without full-time commitment.

Chef Joe and Carolina's vision was to create an underground, cult supper club that offered elegant, creative, fun, and non-pretentious dining experiences. With a common theme or concept, coupled with art and music at a secret location, Uberdine dinners have become a huge success in Kansas City. Chef Joe often uses a product line to inspire his multi-course dinners and empowers local artists to run with the theme. Uberdine is committed to providing an unparalleled dining experience that goes above and beyond the expectations of its customers.

About Chef Joe Shirley

Chef Joe Shirley was born in Springfield, Missouri, and developed a passion for cooking and the service industry at a young age. He spent time in the kitchen with the women of his family, where he developed his deep roots with Southern American fare. At the age of sixteen, Chef Joe began working in the restaurant industry, starting as a line cook in a family-owned Italian restaurant and later at a Japanese steakhouse. In 2000, Chef Joe moved to Kansas City to attend the culinary program at Johnson County Community College. He worked at a local Thai restaurant and eventually found himself working at the hottest place in Kansas City, Grand St. Cafe. In 2004, Chef Joe became the head sushi chef at Kona Grill on the Country Club Plaza, where he worked with the opening team. He was later promoted to executive chef, where he perfected his craft.
