Founder - John Fenger

John Fenger, the founder of Fenger Painting, began his career managing and maintaining high-end sailing yachts in the San Francisco Bay Area. His expertise in marine and industrial coatings, including clear finishes and stains on hardwoods, allowed him to develop a reputation for his attention to detail and commitment to addressing clients' questions and concerns. In 2004, John moved to Sonora, CA, where he could pursue his love of the outdoors and establish a painting business in Tuolumne County.
