Our Team

Our team consists of licensed professionals who have years of experience in the field of home inspections. Our team includes Dwight Hartsell, NC License #65, SC License #21, who is the founder and owner of the company. Dwight has been involved in residential construction most of his life and made the transition from a residential builder to inspecting homes in 1980. Paul Hartsell, NC License #3331, is Dwight's son and is also a licensed inspector. He has received extensive field training from home inspectors and engineers. Susan Hartsell is our office manager and is fully involved in all business operations and report generating.

We offer a range of inspection services to suit your needs. Our services include:

• Mechanical Inspections: Heating and air conditioning systems, plumbing system including the water heater, electrical systems, and built-in appliances.
• Interior Structural Inspections: Includes floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, fireplaces, and flues.
• Exterior Structural Inspections: Includes foundations, crawl area, columns, chimney, roof, and gutters.
• Residential Inspections: Includes mechanical inspection, exterior structural components, and interior structural components (most requested full inspection).
• Condominiums or Townhome Inspections: Includes mechanical inspection, interior structural inspections, and the Homeowners Association is usually responsible for care of exterior items.
• New Residential Construction: We provide ongoing inspections throughout the construction of a new home from start to finish.
• Pre-Drywall Inspection: Includes observing all rough-in components such as structural components, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing before the wall insulation is installed.
• Re-Inspection: For any repairs that have been made following our home inspection.
• Stucco Inspections: Includes hardcoat and synthetic stucco.
• Radon Screening: Requires 3 to 6 days in the home prior to sending the sample canisters to a lab for analysis.

Our reports are generated in a narrative style that is clear and concise for you to understand. We include pictures and full descriptions of deficiencies.
