Our Team

Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who have spent years honing their skills in the self storage industry. Our principals, Norman Schulman and Scott McLaughlin, have a combined total of over 50 years of experience in the industry. They are passionate about offering the best product, convenience, and security, while utilizing state-of-the-art management information systems.

Norman Schulman, President & Chief Executive Officer, has been in the industry for over 40 years. He began his career with U-Haul in New York before moving to Florida in 1989. His extensive experience has allowed him to specialize in self storage operations and moving center management. He is a Florida Real Estate Broker and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Scott McLaughlin, Executive Vice President of Property Management, joined Sentry in 2019. He has been in property management since 1998, working for companies such as Turtle Creek Management and Herman and Kittle Properties. He has experience in both self storage and multi-family property management, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

Lauren Schulman, Vice President of Operations, joined the Sentry team in 2006. She has worked her way up from a Storage Consultant to an Area Manager, overseeing the operations of three South Florida locations. She currently holds a Florida Real Estate Brokers License and is working on obtaining her CPM designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.
