Our Story

Since 1988, Huron Breeze Golf Club has been working tirelessly to exceed your expectations in every aspect of your visit. From its inception, the club has been driven by a vision to be "best in class" on the golf course and in the clubhouse. Located on Michigan's Sunrise Side in AuGres, Michigan, Huron Breeze Golf Club is renowned for its exceptional golfing experience and warm hospitality.

The journey began with a group of local businessmen who shared a passion for golf and a desire to create a premier golfing destination in their community. After conducting a feasibility study, they identified a suitable location and set out to secure the necessary funding and approvals. It was a challenging process, involving negotiations with multiple property owners and securing the necessary financial backing from a group of dedicated investors.

Through perseverance and dedication, the dream finally became a reality. The first nine holes were opened in 1988, followed by the completion of the second nine in 1990. The addition of a liquor license in 1996 further enhanced the club's offerings, allowing it to provide a comprehensive country club atmosphere. Today, Huron Breeze Golf Club is proud to be recognized as one of the top golf courses in the country, earning Golf Digest's - Best Places To Play Award year after year.
