We specialize in architectural, decorative, historical, sports, utility, industrial, hospitality lighting, pole manufacturing, as well as LED retrofit kits. Our company is rooted in the legacy of two successful California-based family businesses dating back to the early 1900s. Calpipe Industries, founded in 1917, and Bieber Lighting, founded in 1929, have contributed significantly to the development of our products and services. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to cater to diverse market needs while maintaining our focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

History

Zuma Lighting is the culmination of two family businesses that have been involved in manufacturing and distributing various products. Calpipe Industries, which was founded in 1917, initially focused on flow control products, plumbing fittings, and construction materials. Later, it expanded into stainless steel and nickel alloy weld fittings, serving various industries such as refining, petrochemical, food processing, aerospace, infrastructure, and others. Calpipe Industries was acquired by Atkore International in 2016.

Bieber Lighting, founded in 1929, pioneered the early commercial lighting industry. Over three generations, the Bieber family continued to produce quality lighting fixtures and solutions for numerous projects across the United States. Gary Bieber, our president, was previously the president of Bieber Illumination Group, a successful outdoor lighting company that manufactured fixtures and solutions for hundreds of projects across the United States.
