Our History

Our founder and owner, Ray Claridge, had a vision to provide top-quality trailers to the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles areas. With years of experience in the cinema vehicle industry, Ray saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the market and became a trailer dealer. In 1988, he opened Golden West Trailer Sales at an old gas station in the Antelope Valley, starting with just one brand and 15 trailers in inventory. Through hard work and exceptional customer service, the business grew rapidly, outgrowing the gas station within three years. Ray then developed a new facility in Acton, California, and moved Golden West Trailer Sales to 1686 West Sierra Highway in 1992.
