Reid's Livery

Reid's Livery Winery, located in Alvaton, Kentucky, is a small farm winery that has been creating award-winning berry and grape wines since 2009. Owner and wine grower Rex Reid has a passion for perfection and a commitment to producing wines that are made entirely on the farm. With over 250 international medals and three Kentucky Commissioner Cup awards for the best wine in the state, Reid's Livery Winery is a must-visit destination for wine lovers.

Unique Wines from Kentucky

At Reid's Livery Winery, we take pride in the fact that our wines are made entirely on the farm. Our estate wines are grown, picked, and made into wine right here on the farm. The majority of our wines are harvested locally in Kentucky, with a few exceptions of imported juice from New York for some of our award-winning wines. Our unique wines have been recognized by critics and patrons alike, earning us the reputation as the best wine bar in Alvaton.

Signature Estate Wines

We offer a selection of signature estate wines that are sure to please any palate. Our Black Raspberry wine is a gold medal winner for three consecutive years and is a favorite among our customers. Enjoy it by itself or pair it with dark chocolate for an unforgettable experience. Our Healthy Harvest Elderberry Blend is named for the high antioxidants and tamiflu effect attributed to elderberries. This gold medal winner is in high demand and is best enjoyed with your favorite cheeses. Our Blue Moon of Kentucky blueberry wine is made from a blend of our homegrown blueberries and imported blueberry juice from the New York great lakes region. This full-bodied wine is a customer favorite and is perfect for special occasions. Our Triple Crown Blackberry wine is exceptional for blackberry taste and bouquet. Harvested on our farm, this wine has a unique flavor that is enjoyed by both dry wine lovers and those looking for a sweet fruity wine.

Kentucky Wines - Reds

In addition to our signature estate wines, we offer a selection of Kentucky wines, including our Norton wine. This extremely smooth wine is a double gold winner in "Wines of the South" and "Indy-International" and is known for its true-to-fruit taste. Our Hilltop Vineyard Blend Norton/Dechanec blend is aged in bourbon barrels and is a gold metal winner at the Heartland Wine Competition. Our Franklin Favorite Sweet Red is a sweet red wine made from concord grapes grown in New York State and is an excellent choice for sweet red wine lovers. Our Harvest Blend Norton/Petite Sirah blend is another award-winning wine that we are proud to offer.
