Sarah graduated from Carl Sandburg College with a Mortuary Science degree in 2013. After working at multiple funeral homes, she co-founded Moore Memorial Homes in 2022. She serves the Abingdon and Avon areas with over a decade of industry experience.
Michael G. Moore
Co-Owner/Funeral Assistant
Michael co-owns Moore Memorial Homes with his wife Sarah. A Roseville native with a Landscape Architecture degree, he combines agricultural expertise with funeral service operations while supporting local farming communities.
Jocelyn C. Behymer
Apprentice Funeral Director & Embalmer
Jocelyn is completing her apprenticeship at Moore Memorial Homes after graduating from Carl Sandburg College in 2025. Originally from Galesburg, she brings fresh perspective to our team while developing her funeral service career.
