Our story started with Stephen Fuller, the owner of Northern Made Creations, who was introduced to the world of mining by his father at the tender age of five. The captivating story of the Lost Adams Diggings, with its promise of gold nuggets as big as fist-sized eggs, ignited a spark in Steve that would eventually lead him to the world of mining and jewelry-making.

Steve's father taught him how to pan for gold in the streams of Ouray, Colorado, where their family operated a hard rock silver mine. During his teenage years, Steve spent his weekends prospecting the dry desert washes in southwestern New Mexico. His time in the US Air Force served as a pause in his mining adventures, but upon his return, he was introduced to a friend of his father who owned mining claims on the Salmon River in Northern California.

Steve spent a summer as an apprentice learning to dredge for gold, and eventually, he was given the opportunity to buy an interest in the claims known as the Grant Creek Mining Co. During his time in Northern California, Steve was taken on as an apprentice by a local jeweler, and he opened his first account in a jewelry supply house.

Our Mining Adventures

Over the years, Steve has had the privilege of mining in some of the most beautiful and remote locations in Alaska. From the frozen tundra to the lush forests, our mining adventures have led us to discover hidden treasures that we then transform into exquisite pieces of jewelry. Our mining claims are located on Caribou Creek, where we extract gold nuggets and quartz, which we then use to create our unique jewelry designs.

Our Gallery and Services

Northern Made Creations Gold & Diamond Company is located in Anchorage, Alaska, at 4300 Old Seward Highway. Our gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
