Our Services
At Living in Freedom Counseling, we specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our licensed therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. Our services include:
- Mental Health Counseling: We strive to encourage emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. We provide individual and family counseling in resolving personal and social problems. Our goal is to help clients identify strengths, cultivate change, and move into self-empowerment.
- Play Therapy: Child play therapy is a way of being with the child that honors their unique developmental level and looks for ways of helping in the "language" of the child - play. This form of therapy is effective in helping children cope with a variety of emotional and social issues, including trauma, anxiety, and depression.
- PTSD and Trauma Therapy: Trauma can have a profound impact on an individual's life, affecting their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We provide trauma-informed therapy that helps clients understand how past and present traumas can affect their lives. Our goal is to support clients on their journey to congruence, peace, and the ability to LIVE IN FREEDOM.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a type of psychotherapy that helps clients understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behaviors. It is a widely used therapy approach that is effective in treating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- DBT: DBT is a type of CBT that was originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder.
