South Coast Hockey League, in partnership with Burrillville Junior Hockey League, CRI Knights Hockey, Greater Providence Youth Hockey Association, Martha's Vineyard Youth Hockey, Nantucket Youth Hockey, Newport Whalers Youth Hockey, Northern Rhode Island Hockey, Southern RI Youth Hockey Association, SWS Youth Hockey, and Warwick Junior Hockey, is a leading youth hockey organization dedicated to promoting the sport of ice hockey and developing young athletes. Our programs cater to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, and we strive to provide a positive and enriching experience for all participants.

Services Offered

At South Coast Hockey League, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to help young athletes develop their skills and love for the game of hockey. Our services include:

League Play: We offer competitive league play for players of all ages and skill levels. Our leagues are designed to provide a challenging and fun experience for all participants, and we work hard to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Clinics and Camps: We offer a variety of clinics and camps throughout the year, designed to help athletes develop their skills and improve their game. These programs are led by experienced coaches and instructors, and provide a structured and supportive learning environment for all participants.
Tournaments: We host a number of tournaments throughout the year, providing opportunities for teams from across the region to compete and showcase their skills. Our tournaments are well-organized and offer a high-quality experience for all participants.
Equipment Management: We provide equipment management services for our teams, ensuring that all players have access to the equipment they need to participate and succeed. Our equipment manager works hard to maintain our equipment and provide timely and efficient service to all players and families.
Team Store: We offer a team store for ordering Whalers-branded gear, clothing, and swag. Our team store is open until May 12 at midnight, and we encourage all players and families to submit their orders on or before the deadline. Our team store offers a convenient and efficient way to order high-quality Whalers gear, and we are proud to offer this service to our community.

Game Jerseys and Socks

Parents who need to order Game Jerseys and Socks can visit our team store using this link: . Returning players should enter their existing Jersey Number, while new Players should choose a number that matches their birth year. Even numbers should be chosen for players born on even number birth years, and odd numbers for players born in odd number birth years. Our new reversible setup for both Game Jerseys and Socks will allow players to have both the Green and White Version with a single jersey and sock order, lowering costs for parents and making life easier on game days by only requiring one jersey.

Hockey Pant Shells

For the 24/25 Season, starting at the Mite Level, we are making the Hockey Shells a part of the mandatory uniform kit. For all other ages, the shells are not mandatory but since most players have black hockey pants which are not part of our colors, we strongly encourage your player to purchase a pair of Hockey Pant Shells to complete the Whalers look on game days.

Practice Jerseys and Socks

For new players, a set of practice socks and a practice jersey is included in your initial registration. For returning players in need of a replacement practice jersey and/or socks, please email the Newport Whalers Equipment Manager at ncyhaequipment@gmail.com. Whalers-branded clothing can also be ordered as part of your team store order.
