Toucan Rescue Ranch

At the Toucan Rescue Ranch, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing Costa Rican wildlife. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for injured, orphaned, and displaced animals, and to work towards their successful release back into their natural habitats. Through our conservation efforts, education programs, and research initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of these incredible creatures and the ecosystem they inhabit.

Our Mission

Our team is committed to providing premier medical treatment, rehabilitation, and eventual release of wildlife into their natural environment. We work closely with the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica (MINAE) to rescue and rehabilitate animals, and our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting the well-being of rainforest animals and conservation through education and research. As a charitable organization, we rely on donations to support our mission and ensure the continued care and rehabilitation of the animals in our facility.

Our Services

At the Toucan Rescue Ranch, we offer a range of services and programs designed to support the rehabilitation and conservation of Costa Rican wildlife. Our Release Program focuses on preparing animals for successful release back into the wild, while our Education Program provides opportunities for individuals to learn about and engage with wildlife conservation efforts. Our Breeding Program helps to increase populations of endangered species, and our Rescue Medical Care program provides critical care to animals in need. We also offer a range of volunteer and internship opportunities for individuals looking to get involved and make a difference.
