The Hugo's Story

Our journey began in 1921 when Albert Hugo, a trained "tapezierer" from Germany, stepped off the train in Jacksonville. With his skills in paper hanging, cabinet making, upholstery, and other crafts, he set up shop with his wife Euna, who was a skilled hat maker. Together, they provided furnishings expertise to prominent families, including the duPonts. Today, we are proud to be in our fourth generation of family ownership, continuing to meet the needs of discerning clients with our extensive collection of fine furniture and accessories.
