Ken Bright Associates, PLLC is a professional engineering and surveying firm located in Sanford, North Carolina. Our team has been providing top-quality services to clients for over 20 years, ranging from municipalities and government agencies to private developers and individuals. Our team consists of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing quality professional services to our clients. Our CEO, Martha Bright Laverde, PE, has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Universidad del Norte in Baranquilla, Colombia and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from N.C. State University. She is a professional engineer with 20 years of experience and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Our CFO, Ken Bright, PE, PLS, has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from N.C. State University and a B.S. in Mathematics from East Carolina University. He is a professional engineer and land surveyor with more than 20 years of experience in private practice. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for 12 years in the City of Sanford Engineering Department.

Services

At Ken Bright Associates, PLLC, we offer a wide range of services to meet our clients' needs. Our civil engineering services include site feasibility analysis, commercial site plans, sanitary sewer design, water line design, lift station design, sediment and erosion control, storm water management plans, spray irrigation and low-pressure sewer systems, and residential site planning and design. We also provide regulatory and permit consulting, construction management and administration, and project estimates.

Our building design services include designing offices, churches, fire stations, retail space, veterinarian hospitals and kennels, small industrial facilities, restaurants, renovations, and additions. We also specialize in manufactured home foundation design.

Projects

We have completed numerous projects throughout our years of service. Some of our notable projects include water line design for the Goldston-Gulf Sanitary District in the City of Sanford, water line connection for Chatham County, and sidewalk design for Humber Street and the parking lot in Sanford, NC. We also designed the Brick Capital CDC Heaven Multi-Family Building in Sanford, NC.
