Hello, I'm Michael Papilla, the wedding cinematographer and proud owner of MP Wedding Films. Since our establishment in 2012, my team and I have been honored to capture and memorialize over 400 weddings in the picturesque Southern California area. My filmmaking journey began in 2004, right after high school, and I pursued my passion at film school, eventually transitioning to wedding cinematography in 2010. After working with various TV studios and film productions in Los Angeles for two years, I discovered my true calling in creating emotionally evocative wedding films.

At MP Wedding Films, we believe in the power of storytelling, which is reflected in our name. We create "wedding films, " not "wedding videos, " as we strive to tell compelling stories through cinematic shots, personal vows, memorable speeches, and mood-enhancing music. By combining these elements, we produce a captivating "Trailer" and an expansive "Feature" film, inspired by the art of cinema.

We provide complete coverage of your ceremony and reception in a traditional "documentary-style, " ensuring every cherished moment is preserved for you to relive.
