Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a holistic approach that focuses on the alignment of the spinal column to alleviate a variety of physical ailments. Our chiropractors are trained to adjust not only the spine but also other bones and joints of the body to address conditions such as knee pain, ankle pain, wrist pain, and more. We also offer acupuncture and laser therapy to treat a range of issues, including stomach problems, vertigo, and pregnancy concerns.
The History of Chiropractic
The word "Chiropractic" comes from the Greek words "cheir" (hand) and "praktos" (done), meaning "done by hand." It was coined by Daniel David Palmer in 1895. Since then, chiropractic professionals have used spinal adjustments to help people prevent and cope with various physical ailments. Today, millions of people benefit from chiropractic care worldwide.
Training of a Chiropractor
Chiropractic doctors undergo a minimum of four years of intense training after receiving an undergraduate degree. Students spend a minimum of 4,200 hours in classroom instruction and 1,000 hours of fully supervised clinical experience. This rigorous training prepares chiropractors to provide expert care for a wide range of conditions.
