Introducing Baseball to the Youth of Wichita
Our Mission
League 42, named in honor of baseball legend Jackie Robinson, exists to offer a positive and inclusive youth baseball experience to children in Wichita, Kansas. Founded in 2013, we strive to provide a high-quality league that fosters a love for the game while ensuring affordability and accessibility for all.
Providing Opportunities for All
We believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of playing organized baseball. Our registration fee is just $30, which covers a complete uniform, essential equipment, and additional playing gear. We partner with local businesses and individuals to secure donations and sponsorships, ensuring that cost never becomes a barrier to participation.
More Than Just Baseball
League 42 is more than just games and home runs. We are committed to fostering the development of young athletes through:
- Positive Coaching: Our dedicated coaches provide guidance and encouragement to players of all skill levels.
- Skill Development: We offer specialized training programs and skills camps to help players reach their full potential.
- Community Involvement: We actively engage with the Wichita community through volunteer opportunities, fundraising events, and community outreach programs.
A Vision for the Future
We envision a future where League 42 has a dedicated facility that includes an indoor training center, learning center, and administrative offices. This will allow us to further enhance the player experience and provide an even more valuable community asset.
