Derman Engineering PLLC is a Long Island-based structural design firm led by Aharon Derman, Principal Engineer. Our company was founded to provide engineering design services for Architects, Contractors, Developers, and Owners. We offer a wide range of structural engineering services for low to mid-rise buildings throughout New York. Our services include design services for Steel, Concrete, Masonry, Wood, Precast Concrete, and Gauge Steel structures. In addition to our structural design services, we provide Backflow Preventer design and filing with NYC DEP. Our services also include structural feasibility studies, structural investigations, and general engineering forensic investigations, condition assessments, and pre-construction photo surveys. We also offer specialized services such as NYC-DEP services, backflow preventer design and filing, backflow preventer certification, and NYC special inspections.

Meet Our Founder

Aharon Derman is the founder of Derman Engineering PLLC, a structural engineering firm. Mr. Derman brings over 9 years of structural engineering experience with a prior 11 years of construction industry experience. Prior to founding Derman Engineering, he specialized in structural design for mid to low-rise buildings throughout NYC. Mr. Derman is experienced in design for a wide variety of structural systems for both residential and commercial projects. He has vast field experience, including special inspections, condition assessments, and structural investigations. Having successfully prepared structural design packages for a multitude of projects, he has a proven track record of getting the job done.
