Who We Are

Northwestern Evangelical Lutheran High School (N.E.W.) is a vibrant Christian community that has been serving the Green Bay area for over 40 years. Our mission is to help families prepare Christian leaders who will serve the Lord with their gifts and abilities. We believe that every student who walks through our doors is a unique individual created by God with a purpose.

Our History

Our journey began in 1975 when two couples sensed the need for a Lutheran high school in the Green Bay area. After conducting a survey, we determined that there was sufficient interest in Christian secondary education. From those humble beginnings, our school has grown and evolved, moving locations three times before settling in our current location on Green Bay's east side in 1993.

Our Students

Our students come from all over Northeastern Wisconsin! We are blessed to have a system of supporting K-8 schools that many of our students come from, including Pilgrim Lutheran School, Green Bay Trinity Lutheran School, and Celebration Lutheran School. However, many of our students enroll from public, private, and home school environments, including Aldo Leopold Community School, Edison Middle School, and Red Smith School.

We believe that education is not just about academics, but also about developing character, faith, and relationships. We strive to provide a strong educational community of faith that helps families prepare Christian leaders who will serve the Lord with their gifts and abilities.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services and programs to help our students grow and develop in their faith and academics. Our academic programs include a strong curriculum in English, mathematics, science, social studies, and foreign languages. We also offer a range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, fine arts, and student organizations.
