Alex Rubbish & Recycling (ARR) is a local waste management company that has been serving the Alexandria community and the surrounding areas since 1969. The company was originally established by the Kluver family and is now owned and operated by "The Hometown Guys, " Shaynen Schmidt, Ricky Kluver, and Shane Schmidt. All three owners were born and raised in the Alexandria area and have been involved in the recycling and refuse industry for over 25 years.

At ARR, we strive to keep our business local and provide a variety of services to meet the needs of both residential and commercial customers. We offer garbage, recycling, yard waste, and roll off container services, and we also service the Pope/Douglas Waste to Energy facility by managing their leftover ash/fines, leachate, and organics recycling.
