At Skylake Yosemite Camp, we are committed to providing a classic sleepaway summer camp experience where campers can create happy memories, develop interests and skills, experience personal growth, build friendships, and develop confidence. Our beautiful outdoor setting in the Sierra National Forest on Bass Lake, just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park, provides the perfect environment for children to spend quality time outside learning new skills and engaging in outdoor adventures with new and old friends.

Our Tradition of Excellence

Since 1945, Skylake has been a family tradition, offering a unique summer camp experience that combines traditional summer camp life with modern amenities and activities. Our campers come from all over the world, with most hailing from the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. We are proud to offer a range of sessions, including two, four, six, and eight-week programs, as well as Family Camp on select weekends.

Our Services

At Skylake, we offer a wide range of activities and programs designed to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our campers. Our Land Activities include archery, arts and crafts, basketball, ceramics, chess, cooking, dance, drama, fishing, horseback riding, lacrosse, martial arts, music, outdoor education, rock climbing, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Our Water Activities include sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, water polo, and windsurfing. We also offer Daily Schedule Day Trips and Backpack Outings, Campfire Special Days, and more.

Our experienced directors and support staff are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for all our campers. We are committed to helping each child develop their unique talents and interests, build lifelong friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

Our Facilities

Our camp is situated on 300 acres of pristine wilderness, featuring private docks on Bass Lake, modern cabins, and state-of-the-art facilities. Our campers have access to top-notch amenities, including a dining hall, infirmary, library, and recreational spaces.
