At The Dizziness and Headache Optometry Center, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality eye care to all our patients. Our team is led by Dr. David Zucker, a NeuroVisual Optometrist who is passionate about improving the visual freedom and quality of life for every patient. Dr. Zucker's ultimate goal is to positively impact all those he comes into contact with, whether they are a personal friend, a patient in an exam room, or a stranger on the street.

Meet Our NeuroVisual Optometrist

Dr. Zucker attended Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology before moving to Chicago to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from The Illinois College of Optometry. During his studies, he was active in the American Optometric Association (AOA) and even served as the Political Action Committee (PAC) Liaison for his school. This experience led him to travel to Washington D.C. twice to fight for patients' rights to access quality eye care. After completing his rigorous training program and internship, Dr. Zucker practiced full-scope eye care in Southern Vermont for a few years before settling in Santa Barbara, CA in 2015.

We diagnose and treat a range of conditions including Dizziness, Lightheadedness, Vertigo, Headaches, Migraines, Nausea, Motion Sickness, Neck Tension, and Upper Back Pain related to Binocular Vision Dysfunction, Vertical Heterophoria, Superior Oblique Palsy, Exophoria, and Convergence Insufficiency. Additionally, we provide primary care optometry and treat or diagnose conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, keratoconus, eye infections, and cataracts.
