At IMS Worldwide, Inc., we have been pioneers in the logistics consulting industry for over 50 years. Our company was founded in 1967 by Mr. F.J. Spencer, who played a key role in establishing the first Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) in the United States outside of a major water port. Today, we are a leading consulting firm that provides a range of services to clients across the country.

Our History

Our journey began when Mr. Spencer was assisting the City of McAllen, Texas with an FTZ feasibility study, application, and marketing plan. This Zone was designed to serve the burgeoning U.S./Mexico trade in auto parts and electronics. Today, that Zone is one of the busiest FTZ projects in the country, with an average annual international trade of over $1 billion.
