Welcome to M&D Farm, a unique outdoor wedding venue nestled on a 58-acre private property in Upstate New York. Our property is comprised of a beautifully restored 1800's farmhouse, a 1940's barn, European-style gardens, a serene pond, verdant pastoral fields, and lush woodlands. We offer a magical idyllic setting for an unforgettable outdoor garden barn wedding. Our atmosphere is authentic and laid-back, making it the perfect setting for couples to fall in love and get inspired.

The Property

Originally a sheep farm, our land is composed of fields, prairies, European-style gardens, woods, and ponds reminiscent of the charming English countryside. Each area is designed to be explored and discovered by our visitors and guests. We are the perfect setup for an unforgettable outdoor garden barn wedding, surrounded by romantic European-style gardens in the beautiful countryside of Upstate New York.

The Gardens

Our gardens are inspired by the fantasy and beauty of old cottages discovered during our travels throughout the English countryside, combined with a bit of Mediterranean symmetry and formality. They enchant and romance every visitor's stare, making them a truly magical outdoor garden wedding venue in Upstate New York.

The Barn

The barn, built in the late 1940s, is a large open space with tall front and back doors, allowing light and air to seamlessly connect our European-style outdoor areas and gardens. It serves as a magical canvas, making your dream romantic cottagecore wedding a reality. The barn is connected to three additional wings: a fairy light airy overhang, a laid-back stylish bar reminiscent of 1920s bohemian speakeasy, and a spacious catering-prepping area.

The Dining Courtyard & Fire Pit

Our barn's back door opens up to reveal the Dining Courtyard, a long graveled area surrounded by trees and nature reminiscent of the courtyards you find in many private villas along the Mediterranean countryside. It's the perfect setup for recreating a typical European fete with its long tables under the magical glow of string lights. Connected to the back of the dinning courtyard is the fire pit lounging area, giving guests the option to enjoy the cozy intimacy of a warm roaring fire.

The Pond Gardens

Located on the lower part of the property, our pond gardens unfold unto a large open space surrounded by nature, lawns, and pastoral fields. This area offers couples another beautiful option for a ceremony, using the pond's reflection as their background. In addition to the pond's ceremony site, the gardens offer another area for your special day to unfold.
