Environmental & Turf Services, Inc. (ETS) is an interdisciplinary firm with extensive collective experience working with agriculture, turf, golf courses, firing ranges, and hazardous site investigations. Our company was founded by Dr. Stuart Cohen in January 1991. Since its inception, ETS has maintained a small, tight-knit team of highly trained professionals who have worked on projects from Massachusetts to Hawaii, and many points in between.

Our Mission

At ETS, our mission is to provide scientific assistance and expert testimony to assist companies in complying with increasingly stringent regulatory demands. We also provide technical assistance to municipalities in the review of technical documents for proposed developments. Our goal is to resolve complex scientific issues with sound science, which has been recognized in the many abstracts, papers, and posters that our staff have presented before their peers.

Federal Environmental Statutes

Our work is guided by various federal environmental statutes, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Safe Drinking Water Act (SWDA), and the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA).
