Schrader Acres / David Jones, Jr. Assisted Living Center is a faith-based, non-profit facility offering compassionate care and enriching services to seniors in the heart of Nashville. Guided by the mission to enhance the highest quality of life for our residents, we provide affordable housing and a supportive environment that fosters physical, social, educational, and spiritual well-being.

Our Beginnings and Values

Born out of the Schrader Lane Church of Christ's desire to live out their faith through action, Schrader Acres emerged in 1984 as a senior citizens center. Recognizing the changing needs of their residents as they aged, the community expanded in 2005 to become the state-of-the-art Assisted Living Center it is today.

Guided by the words of Acts 1:1 - "Jesus went about doing good and teaching", Schrader Acres prioritizes a holistic approach to senior living. Our services are focused on empowering residents to remain independent while receiving the support they need to live fulfilling lives.

Our Services and Residences

We offer a variety of spacious and comfortable private and semi-private apartments, each equipped with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Residents can choose from cozy one-bedroom or comfortable two-bedroom suites, ensuring a comfortable and personalized living experience.

Our Commitment to Care

Beyond just providing physical care, Schrader Acres fosters a sense of community and belonging. Our dedicated staff engage residents in a variety of activities and excursions, including:

• Board games and arts & crafts
• Movie nights

We also offer a comprehensive care plan to address individual needs, with support for daily living tasks, medication management, and companionship.
