Founded in 1913 as Pike Machine Shop, Red Oak Fabrication has since been a pillar of Southwest Iowa's metalworking industry. Over the years, our company has grown and transformed, eventually becoming Red Oak Machine Co. in 1986. Today, we operate as Red Oak Fabrication, a multi-location fabrication enterprise renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and advanced solutions.

Red Oak Fabrication's rich history began with pioneers such as Ted Fort, whose innovation and dedication set the stage for a century of unmatched service. What started as a small machine shop has expanded across four locations, offering specialized services in precision Plasma, Laser, and Water Jet cutting, CNC operations, Steel Blasting, and Powder Coating. Our team combines a deep respect for tradition with cutting-edge technologies, providing comprehensive solutions for all fabrication needs.

Strategically located in Red Oak, Iowa, Red Oak Fabrication serves as a premier turnkey job shop, delivering a wide range of precision services. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes Alltra Plasma tables, Mazak and Bystronic lasers, and a 2016 Flow Water Jet for versatile material cutting. Our unique powder coating capabilities, utilizing the only GFS booths in Iowa with a 3-stage wash and blasting feature, guarantee unmatched quality. We're proud to house an advanced Genesis welding cell with a Fanuc Robotic arm, ensuring efficient and expert handling of steel, aluminum, and stainless materials.

• Plasma Cutting: Our facilities are equipped with two Alltra Plasma tables, capable of cutting up to 3" material on a 10x24 cutting area. We've invested in the latest technology to ensure precision and efficiency in all of our projects.

• Laser Cutting: Red Oak Fabrication boasts two Mazak Lasers with cutting areas of 5x10 and a Bystronic 4400 watt with a larger cutting surface of 80x160. Each of our lasers provides unparalleled precision, with some capable of cutting materials as thin as 1".

• Water Jet Cutting: Our 2016 Flow Water Jet table offers a 5x10 cutting surface and can handle a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics, and rubber. Its impressive capabilities include bevel cutting up to 70 degrees at 90,000 psi, ensuring flexibility and quality in every project.
