Promoting the best interest and true spirit of the game
Since 1905, the Missouri Golf Association (MGA) has been dedicated to promoting the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf throughout the State of Missouri. Our organization was founded in St. Louis to run the Amateur Championship, with the support of four founding clubs: St. Louis Country Club, Algonquin Golf Club, Westwood Hills Country Club, and Norwood Hills Country Club. Today, we continue to advance the game by providing a variety of services to our member players and clubs.
Services Offered
The MGA conducts several statewide championships, offers handicap services through GHIN Member Service, and provides course rating and measuring services throughout the state. We also offer a number of benefits and discounts to our members, including access to tournaments, membership benefits, and special promotions.
History
Our history is rich and dates back to the early years of golf in Missouri. From humble beginnings to the present day, we have consistently worked to promote the game and support its growth in our state. Whether it's through championship events, handicap services, or community outreach, our mission remains the same: to keep the game great for everyone involved.
Community Involvement
The MGA is committed to giving back to the community. We organize and participate in various events and initiatives aimed at promoting golf and supporting local charities. Whether it's a charity tournament or a community outreach program, we believe in the power of golf to bring people together and make a positive impact.
