At Photography Essence, we are a husband-and-wife photography team, Ryan and Pamela Shook, who are passionate about capturing life's precious moments. With over 23 years of friendship, 6 years of marriage, and more than 7 years of experience in professional photography, we have had the privilege of documenting many special moments for our clients.

Our Story

We started our photography journey many years ago, when Ryan was just a teenager, and Pamela was inspired by her children's birthday photoshoots. Our love for photography grew, and so did our family. We now have three beautiful daughters and one handsome son. Throughout our journey, we have made it our mission to educate ourselves annually to ensure our clients receive the best possible experience.
