Our Team

At Netherton Family Dentistry, we understand the importance of a strong, skilled team. Our staff is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional dental care. Our team includes Dr. Michael Netherton, Joan Dobson, Laura Hildreth, Dawn Molloy, and Kristi Sharpe.

Dr. Michael Netherton has been practicing dentistry in McMinnville since 2002, after graduating with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Middle Tennessee Study Club, and Spear Study Club. Dr. Netherton is committed to staying current and improving through ongoing continuing education.

Joan Dobson has been working as a hygienist in McMinnville since graduating from Chattanooga State in 1984. She has been working with Dr. Netherton for over 10 years. Laura Hildreth has been working as a dental hygienist since earning her degree from Chattanooga State in 2013. Dawn Molloy has been working as a dental hygienist since 2008, with a degree in Hygiene from Chattanooga State and a B.S. in Chemistry from Tennessee Tech. Kristi Sharpe has been working as a dental assistant.
