Whether fishing on world class fly fishing rivers, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, or just taking in the breathtaking views of majestic mountain ranges, this will be a vacation you'll never forget.

Our Story

As your hosts, Tom and Sheri Luksha, we have been in the service industry, in one form or another, for most of our working lives. We enjoy the variety that life provides in working with people from all walks of life. We also enjoy having our guests sit down together and share stories or experiences of life in the mountains. Tom, along with a heart for the kitchen, enjoys a day in the mountains hunting, hiking, fishing or just exploring to discover new scenic views. When not creating goodies in the kitchen, Sheri enjoys quilting, as well as a good book while resting along the river. Most of all we really enjoy seeing our guests satisfied from their full breakfast and a rested smile upon their faces as they head out to enjoy the day in the mountains, sightseeing or off to their porch to enjoy a good book.

Our Services

Elijah's Rest is a cabin and vacation rental business offering you competitively priced accommodations. Individual cabins include full private baths and a private porch to view the surrounding mountains in a relaxed atmosphere. Our lodging is located just minutes north of historic Virginia City and Yellowstone National Park is a pleasant ninety-minute drive. Other exciting area destinations include the Lewis and Clark Caverns and Big Sky ski resort. We also offer a range of activities and services to make your stay with us even more enjoyable, including arranging personal birding tours, providing information on world-class fly fishing rivers, and offering recommendations on the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the area.

The Mantle House

The Mantle House building is where all our guests gather to enjoy time together playing games and planning their time in the area. There you can enjoy some time visiting with others as well as your hosts, Tom and Sheri. It is a place that is used for special functions and can be used during the day to sit and visit with friends or relatives who live in the area. It is a cozy spot to read a book or even enjoy a board game. Games and books are available for use in the Mantle House as is a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate to go along with your time there.
