Our journey began when our co-founders, John Edward McGee and Demetrius James, realized the importance of knowing what goes into the food we eat. After experiencing the limitations of gluten-free options, they decided to take matters into their own hands and create a bakery that serves the gluten-free community.

Our History

John Edward McGee's life took an unexpected turn when he suffered a severe allergic reaction to gluten, classified as Wheat Dependent Exercise Induced Anaphylaxis (WDEIA). This rare condition led him to discover the importance of knowing what goes into his food. After visiting various bakeries in San Francisco, he was shocked to find a lack of gluten-free dessert options. This experience sparked an idea to create a dedicated gluten-free bakery, where customers can indulge in delicious treats without worrying about their dietary restrictions.
