Pennington Locksmith Company, established in 1993, has been a trusted name in the locksmithing industry for over two decades. Our journey began with Sgt. David Pennington, a former Phoenix Police Department officer who honed his locksmith skills during an undercover operation. Inspired by his father's expertise, Clinton Pennington, Clinton's son, followed in his footsteps, embarking on a path to becoming a master locksmith himself.

A Legacy of Locksmithing Expertise

David and Clinton joined forces, combining the financial backing of the elder Pennington with Clinton's burgeoning locksmith skills. They officially launched County Wide Lock and Key from the garage of David's home in 1993. The business flourished, prompting a move to a storefront location in Gilbert by 1994. Clinton, however, pursued his lifelong ambition of becoming a police officer, accepting a position with the Gallup New Mexico Police Department in 2007. While Clinton excelled as a SWAT operator, he never let go of his passion for locksmithing, practicing it in his spare time and even assisting his department with related tasks.

The unfortunate passing of David in 2011 led to a pivotal moment for Clinton. Determined to honor his father's legacy, Clinton decided to return to Gilbert in 2011 to revive the family business.
