The L & L Companies are owned by brothers Michael and Ross Levine, the third generation of Levine's to run the family business. The company was founded in 1949 by grandfather Willie Levine and was later passed down to son Alvin Levine. After running the business for almost 40 years, Alvin passed away in 2008, leaving Michael, Ross, and their sister Marni to oversee the operations of a group of companies, which includes L & L Painting Co. Inc, L & L Stone & Tile and VMR Civil. Both Michael and Ross graduated from Syracuse University and have two children each.
