Meraki Portrait has been in the business of capturing love stories for the past seven wonderful years. We were founded by Alicia, a photographer with a unique, intimate, and pure approach, who believes in providing an authentic storytelling experience that truly reflects and brings out the very best in every couple. Our clients become more like friends, and we strive to give back timeless memories that remind you why you love each other.

Meraki Portrait was born out of Alicia's personal experience of planning her wedding without her mother, who passed away 14 years ago due to cancer. This life-changing event made Alicia realize the true meaning and value of a photograph, and how it can hold precious memories and keep loved ones alive. From this experience, Meraki Portrait was created to perfect your legacy through passionate photography.

However, with a heavy heart, we announce that after the 2022 wedding season, Meraki Portrait will be officially closing its doors. Alicia's brother is battling Stage 5 Kidney Failure and requires around-the-clock care. As a potential kidney donor, Alicia does not feel comfortable accepting money for such an important day or being a sounding board when guidance is needed. Family always comes first, and for now, this is something we have to do.

I'm Alicia, the giggly one behind the camera. I'm a born-and-raised Mainer, a graduate of the class of 2019, and a supporter of local businesses. I'm an Autism Advocate and Melissa McCarthy's #1 fan. I believe in providing a relaxed and fun photography experience that truly reflects and brings out the very best in you.
