Our Roots

Bluemel's Garden & Landscape Center has a rich history that dates back to the early 1950s. The business was started by James Bluemel, his brothers, and father as a small-scale nursery in their backyard. They offered trees, shrubs, and landscape services to the Metro-Milwaukee area, with a mission to provide quality tree and landscaping services at competitive pricing, and customer service that was second to none. Over the years, Bluemel's has evolved into a multi-faceted company, expanding to include a retail gift store, floral shop, and a garden center. Today, Bluemel's is still family-owned and operated, with Mike Bluemel, the youngest of six children, carrying on the tradition of offering high-quality products and unbeatable service.
