At The Shooshan Company, we are a privately owned investor and full-service developer, leading innovative real estate projects built on integrity and community commitment. We take pride in being the local real estate developer of choice in Arlington, Virginia.

Our journey began in 1986 when our founder, John Shooshan, decided to start The Shooshan Company after a successful career with the Oliver Carr Company and Cadillac Fairview. John was mentored by Oliver Carr and Jim Clark (of Clark Construction) and developed his first high-end office building in the Ballston submarket of the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor in 1989 (Quincy Street Station). He believed this area would ultimately be an ideal destination due to its proximity to Washington, DC and its cost-effective alternative to downtown, while providing a true mixed-use, transit-oriented community.

Today, The Shooshan Company is led by John and his two children, Kelly and Kevin, both of whom attended Georgetown University and earned real estate experience at other firms before joining the family business. Brian Scull, Director of Commercial Development, has been with the company since its inception and has been instrumental in our success.

• 4040 Wilson Blvd.: This project includes 185,000 SF of Class A office space and is now leasing. 4040 Wilson Blvd is located in Arlington, Virginia, and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

• 4040 Wilson Blvd - Residential: This project offers 250 apartments and is now leasing. The residential component of 4040 Wilson Blvd is located in Arlington, Virginia, and provides residents with easy access to local amenities and public transportation.
