Our Mission

For nearly two decades, Decker's Driving Academy has been dedicated to providing comprehensive and responsible driver's education to the youth in our community. We understand that obtaining a driver's license is more than just passing a test; it's about equipping young drivers with the knowledge, skills, and safe driving habits necessary to become responsible and confident individuals on the road.

Our Approach

At Decker's Driving Academy, we believe in a well-rounded approach to driver training. We offer a blend of classroom instruction, online learning, and behind-the-wheel training to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle handling. Our experienced and dedicated instructors are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and mastering the fundamentals of safe driving.

Classroom Instruction

Our classroom sessions cover a wide range of essential topics, including traffic laws, right-of-way rules, safe driving practices, hazard perception, and vehicle maintenance. We utilize engaging teaching methods, interactive activities, and real-life scenarios to ensure students grasp the concepts and apply them confidently on the road.

Online Learning

Recognizing the importance of flexibility and accessibility, we offer an online component to our driver's education program. Students can complete online modules at their own pace, reinforcing classroom learning and gaining additional knowledge about road safety and traffic regulations. This online platform allows students to learn from anywhere, at any time, making it a convenient and effective supplement to in-person instruction.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

Perhaps the most vital aspect of driver's education is hands-on experience. Our behind-the-wheel training program provides students with supervised driving practice in a variety of real-world conditions. Students learn essential driving skills like starting and stopping, steering, lane changes, parking, merging, and navigating traffic. Our instructors provide constructive feedback and guidance throughout the training, helping students develop the confidence and proficiency needed to become safe and responsible drivers.

Service Areas

We are proud to serve the communities of Wausau, Everest, and Marathon. We offer door-to-door service within these areas, making it convenient for students to receive training close to home.
