Safety Zone Driving Academy

At Safety Zone Driving Academy, we are dedicated to providing year-round professional drivers education to students 15 years of age and older. Our mission is to ensure that every student who completes our program is well-prepared to pass their driving test and become a safe, responsible driver. Our team of experienced instructors is committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters both knowledge and confidence behind the wheel.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to cater to different needs and schedules. Our Online and Drive Package includes a 30-hour online course with Driving Brilliance, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, and additional behind-the-wheel time available for $60 per hour. We also offer a Drive Only Package, which includes 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training at $365. For students who have completed their online course, we offer a Driving Skills Test for $30. Additionally, we provide services in various locations, including Wolcott, Monticello, Logansport, and West Lafayette.

Meet Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in teaching drivers education. Anne Oberlander, our owner and instructor, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and a Masters of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. Casey Hines, another instructor, graduated from Purdue University and has been teaching drivers education for over 10 years. Mike Harter, Mike Rennier, and Teresa Hines are also part of our team, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to their teaching roles.
