Welcome to The Castle, a thriving center for the arts and a repurposed historic building in Beloit. Our stunning architecture and rich history have been carefully preserved and transformed into a community center for music, art, and special events.

Our Facility

The Sanctuary:

A spectacular pipe organ and gothic architecture adorn this acoustically balanced room with a soaring ceiling and large stained glass windows. Ideal for music, multi-media presentations, lectures, weddings, or small expos, the sanctuary seats up to 340 people and offers a full-size movie screen. Rentals start at $2500.

The Banquet Hall:

Complete with an elevated full stage and a stone fireplace, this dining hall is perfect for musical or theatrical performances, receptions, or large meetings. Accommodating up to 2100 guests, rentals start at $1500.

The Root Cellar:

A charming wood-trimmed wedding chapel converted into a cozy cafe and avant-garde music venue. Featuring a small stage and located near the Castle Kitchen for light dining, the Root Cellar is ideal for intimate events and rentals start at $900.

The Belltower Loft:

An elegant loft space with sliding glass panels, offering stunning views of the Sanctuary. Restored stained glass windows, wood beam trusses, and oak paneled ceilings create an unforgettable ambiance for any event. A small stage is available for live music. (Currently under renovation)

Music Education

The Castle Conservatory offers classes designed to stimulate and energize young musicians and artists. Our youthful and enthusiastic teachers provide unique approaches and valuable information in private or group lessons for various instruments and genres. We proudly sponsor music classes by The Youth Unite (TYU) for tots, teens, and adults.

Community Impact

As the home of The Youth Unite (TYU), we are proud to host a local bully prevention organization. Our rental space is also available for other interested organizations. TheYouthUnite.com

Hourglass Media

Hourglass Media, a non-profit corporation, provides the community of Beloit with a venue to enjoy the performing arts and experience education in health and wellness. Our mission is to preserve one of the city's most significant architectural landmarks while offering commercial and philanthropic events that benefit various community groups.
