For over 50 years, our family has proudly served the Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland area. We are a family-owned business, dedicated to providing the freshest selection of fruits and vegetables, flowers, plants, and more. Our farm offers a variety of services including U-pick, a farm stand, wholesale produce, and even greenhouses filled with a wide variety of plants and flowers. We take pride in our locally grown products and strive to make every visit a memorable experience.

History

At Scheeringa Farms, we have a rich history that dates back to 1940. Our journey began with Farmer Bill, who continued to farm and peddle until 1967. Today, the farm is run by Farmer Don and his three daughters, Jeannine, Jennifer, and Janille. We've made significant improvements over the years while still maintaining the personal care and attention to detail that our customers have come to expect.

The Legacy Continues

Our process of growing hanging baskets and bedding plants has also improved significantly. We've replaced older greenhouses with state-of-the-art facilities, including automatic watering and venting systems, heating units, and a large packing facility for wholesale produce. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains unwavering.
