The Groomery is a thriving local, family-owned pet grooming business located in the heart of downtown Charlotte, MI. Established in May 2016 by Capri Brown-Dickson, the company has been providing the community with exceptional grooming services tailored to meet the unique needs of each furry client.

Capri, the lead groomer, and the dedicated team at The Groomery take immense pride in offering gentle and eco-friendly grooming services. With a commitment to safe animal handling and continuous learning, Capri has furthered her education in the industry by attending workshops and training seminars each year. In 2017 and 2018, Capri attended workshops at the PetMassage Training and Research Institute in Toledo, Ohio, allowing her to provide a higher level of care for senior or anxious pets. Currently, Capri is studying to become a certified canine nutritionist.

In addition to Capri, Lance McClurkin, Capri's son, plays an integral role in The Groomery's success. Initially joining the family business to help out, Lance discovered his passion for grooming and has since become an invaluable member of the team. He has expanded The Groomery's range of services to include creative grooming with scissor work and color, bringing a fresh, up-and-coming trend to the business.
