Our History
Bare Bliss was founded by Jessica Edmonson, who obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and pursued a career as an Electrologist in 2018. She received her medical license through the Oklahoma State Electrology Association in 2020. Jessica's personal experience with unwanted hair and her incredible results with electrolysis inspired her to help others achieve the same confidence and esteem.
The Science Behind Electrolysis
Electrolysis has a rich history dating back to 1875, when Dr. Charles Michel experimented with ways to remove painful ingrown eyelashes. Today, registered electrologists in Oklahoma are well-trained and licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. We offer three modalities of electrolysis - Multiple Needle Galvanic (MNG), Thermolysis, and the Blend method - to achieve permanent removal of unwanted hair.
