At Monument Fire District, we are committed to serving the greater Tri-Lakes Region with character, connection, and a commitment to excellence. Our team of dedicated firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel are equipped to respond to a wide range of emergency situations, including fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and wildland firefighting.

Our Services
Monument Fire District offers a comprehensive range of services to the community, including:
- Fire Suppression: Our team of trained firefighters is equipped to respond to structure fires, wildland fires, and other emergency situations.
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS): We provide patient transportation and medical services to the community, including basic life support and advanced life support.
- Hazardous Materials Response: Our team is trained to respond to hazardous materials incidents, including chemical spills and leaks.
- Technical Rescue: We provide technical rescue services, including rope rescue, confined space rescue, and trench rescue.
- Wildland Firefighting: Our team is trained to respond to wildland fires, including brush fires and forest fires.
Our Service Area
Monument Fire District is located in northwestern El Paso County, and our boundaries include the Rampart Range/Palmer Lake to the West, Air Force Academy/Baptist/Hodgen Roads to the South, Black Forest Road to the East, and County Line Road to the North. We also provide mutual aid to the United States Forest Service in the extreme western part of our district in the Mount Herman area.
