• Prescription Filling: We accept prescriptions from any eye doctor, so you can choose the provider that's right for you. If you're new to the area, we can even recommend a local optometrist or ophthalmologist.
• Duplication Services: If you scratch your lenses or lose a lens, we can read your existing lenses and create a new pair for you. This service is available even if you don't have a copy of your prescription.

Meet Larry Wenzel: Over 40 Years of Experience in the Optical Business

Larry Wenzel, the founder of Creative Eyewear, was born and raised in New Braunfels and has been in the optical business since December 1968. With over 40 years of experience, Larry is a certified optician by the American Board of Opticianry, registered optician with the Texas Department of Health, and fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry. He is also a past president of the Texas Ophthalmic Professional Society and certified as a quality control lens finisher by the Optical Laboratories Association.

Larry's commitment to excellence extends beyond Creative Eyewear. He has served as an Opa for the Wurstfest Association in New Braunfels, Texas, for many years and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the community. These include the Optician of the Year from the Texas Ophthalmic Professional Society and Small Businessman of the Year from the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce.
