Family Martial Arts Training in Wichita Falls
Red River BJJ was founded in 2010 by Professor Ben Lozano and Vanessa Lozano, both US Air Force veterans and certified black belts under Bruno Bastos. Our school was established to bring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to communities lacking access, starting in Wichita Falls, TX. With over 20 years of combined military service and decades of martial arts experience, we focus on creating a family-friendly environment where students of all ages learn self-defense, build physical fitness, and develop mental resilience. Our team includes certified instructors with diverse martial arts backgrounds, including judo, kung fu, and combatives. We emphasize technical proficiency over brute strength, making the art accessible to individuals of all sizes and abilities. Our curriculum integrates warm-ups, technique instruction, drilling, and live grappling while prioritizing safety through proper equipment and supervision. We offer specialized programs for children, adults, and seniors, including no-gi classes for realistic self-defense training. Our instructors have competed in prestigious tournaments and bring real-world experience from military deployments and competitive sports. We maintain a strong commitment to community development, having graduated hundreds of students since opening our doors. Our family-oriented approach ensures personalized attention, with multiple instructors available to address individual learning needs.
